Tiffany Stanton is the Grade 7-9 Counselor at Army and Navy Academy. She specializes in helping students with their social/emotional well-being, academic success, and college/career goals. She is a co-adviser of the No Place For Hate Club, along with being the advisor of the Peer Counseling Program. Tiffany was born at West Point and grew up as an Army Brat, moving 8 times throughout different states and countries up until high school. She is passionate about guiding students through transitions and finding healthy coping strategies to help with life’s challenges. She provides monthly guidance lessons to students on various subjects such as gratitude, kindness, and college preparation.

In addition to school counseling, Tiffany is currently an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. She also received her certificate as a National Certified Counselor. She has previously worked as a residential camp counselor for two summers in the Berkshires during her undergraduate years. Tiffany interned at a K-8 school in the Poway School District, along with interning for a year at the Army and Navy Academy during the 2021-2022 school year. Additionally, she presented data which was collected through qualitative research in her master’s program on suicidal ideation over the years. This provided insight into how to understand the patterns of suicidal ideation in school environments in order to better prepare future counselors, and create insight into safety plans and prevention.

In her free time, Tiffany enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, yoga, reading, and traveling.
