Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in American high schools and colleges. Army and Navy Academy is no exception. It holds appeal for our domestic students as well as international students. Want to play lacrosse in high school? Army & Navy Academy has a lacrosse team that is fast, fun, and high intensity. The program at the Academy actually started in 2014 based on requests from students. Over the years, we have attracted some top coaches and have taken the sport to a whole new level. 

Lacrosse Interest Increases at U.S. Boarding Schools 

History – America’s oldest sport, dating back to the 1600s, the sports was played by native North American Tribes. Over the years, the sport has ushered in new rules and now has a strong presence at many elite boarding schools.

Across the country, you will find varsity teams and clubs from the East Coast to the West Coast. Benefits of Lacrosse – This is a great sport to stay active, fit, and use both cognitive and physical skill sets. Lacrosse is also a great sport to gain college scholarships, build new friendships, and gain greater stamina.

Home to Duffield Athletic Center, Maffucci Field, and Bliss Stadium, students benefit from the daily structured schedule that incorporates academics, athletics, clubs, trips, and activities.
