Damian Della Barba

Damian J. Della Barba served in the United States Army for 22 years, retiring in 2011 with the rank of Sergeant First Class/SFC. He enlisted after graduating from Augustine High School in San Diego in 1989 and served in various divisions, including the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, NY, the 2nd Infantry Division in South Korea, the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, Colorado, and the 1st Armored Division in Baumholder, Germany. He also completed two tours in Bosnia-Herzegovina and worked as a Recruiter and Station Commander for the US Army Recruiting Command for 11 years.

After retiring from the army, Damian worked in leadership and managerial positions for the Department of Veterans Affairs throughout the Southwest region. He also earned his bachelor’s degree in public relations and marketing from the University of Arizona. Damian is excited to mentor, teach, counsel, and advise young Cadets to become the best they can be. He thanks the parents, guardians, and family members for entrusting the team of TAC Officers with their sons.

In his free time, Damian enjoys traveling and has driven across the country numerous times, visiting 49 out of 50 states. He loves spending time with family and friends, playing sports, BBQ cooking, working out, and being back home in San Diego.
