A bit about Cory’s background: He holds a Master of Science in School Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential from California Baptist University. For his undergraduate education, Cory attended California State University, San Marcos, where he double-majored in Business Administration and Sociology. With a year of experience working with students at various grade levels, gained during his internship at the Lake Elsinore Unified School District, Cory is well-prepared for his role. Previously, he worked in the logistic and hospitality industry, where he discovered his passion for helping individuals. These experiences ignited his desire to guide students through the challenges they may encounter on their educational journey and empower them to make positive decisions for their future. He is excited to meet and engage with all the students.

When he’s not at school, Cory enjoys spending time outdoors or supporting his favorite sports team. Whether it’s hiking, running, or simply reveling in the beauty of nature, he is often found outside. Cory is happily married, and his wife serves as his greatest source of inspiration and support. They share their home with two wonderful dogs, Ellie and Jaxx, who bring joy and laughter to their lives daily.
