END-OF-YEAR CELEBRATIONS
Year In Review Assembly
Virginia Powell Atkinson Memorial Chapel
(All Cadets)
This ceremony will include the passing of the gavel by the Honor Council and Associated Student Body presidents as well as a presentation of the Talisman, the Academy’s annual art and poetry magazine. This event will not be livestreamed.
Achievement Awards
Davis Hall

At this end-of-year ceremony, we will recognize cadets for their stellar performance in academics and athletics. This event will be held in Davis Hall and will be livestreamed at our Youtube channel.
College Sweatshirt Photo and Fire and Ice

Seniors will don the sweatshirts of their upcoming colleges for a photoshoot in front of Davis Hall. Afterward, the Class of 2024 will head down to our beach firepit for the Fire and Ice celebration, a long-standing tradition where seniors burn their college rejection letters and enjoy some ice cream to soothe the burn. If your cadet does not have a college sweatshirt, please get him prepared for this celebrated rite of passage!
Grad Night : Universal Studios

The Class of 2024 will be taking off for a night of fun to mark the end of their time at the Academy. Bus transportation will be provided for Cadets and chaperones.

Middle School Promotion and Awards Ceremony

Army and Navy Academy’s 8th grade class will officially become high schoolers in this emotional ceremony at the Virginia Powell Atkinson Memorial Chapel. There will be a reception following the ceremony in the adjacent Rec Hall.

Seniors and their mothers are invited to engage in one of Army and Navy Academy’s most touching traditions. This tea service allows graduating cadets and their mothers to celebrate a job well done and is the formal start of our commencement activities.

This parade relinquishes the senior class from its duties and ushers in the new leadership for the next academic year. Families are welcome to attend. This event will be livestreamed for Army and Navy Academy community members who are unable to join us on our Youtube page.
Senior Banquet and Baccalaureate - Registration Open

Senior + 2 Guests – No charge. There is an additional fee of $45 for each additional guest.
Seniors and their parents are invited to a special dinner where seniors will spend an evening looking back on memories of their time at the Academy and celebrating their future. Additional guests are welcome.

Army and Navy Academy seniors and their families will enjoy one last spectacular event at the Academy, the Commencement Ceremony. This senior graduation event will be held in front of Davis Hall, a tradition going back to 1936.
