Kara is one of the high school counselors at ANA, she primarily serves students with last names that begin with R-Z in grades 10-12. Her primary responsibilities are to assist students with any academic, personal, and college/career goals. Kara also leads the student Peer Tutor service at ANA and helps coach the ANA swim team. 

Before joining the ANA team in 2022, she spent 4 years at a large high school in Charlotte, NC and 1 year at a high school in Brooklyn, NY. She is a member of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and National Association of College Admissions and Counseling (NACAC) and loves attending conferences in order to have self growth and learn new skills for working with high school aged students. 

In her free time she enjoys getting outside to play tennis or golf on the weekends and also attending sporting events with her fiance. Kara is a North Carolina native and enjoys traveling back home to spend time with her family.
