Army and Navy Academy Class of 2025 Earns Acceptances to Top Universities and Over $4.2 Million in Scholarships

Carlsbad, CA – Army and Navy Academy congratulates the Class of 2025! This year’s graduates have been accepted to 98 unique institutions, including top universities, U.S. service academies, and all five senior military colleges, and have collectively earned more than $4.2 million in scholarships for their academic, athletic, and leadership accomplishments.

With a graduating class of only 58 Cadets, this achievement is particularly significant.

“Our Cadets have truly earned the opportunities ahead of them,” said Barry Shreiar, President of Army and Navy Academy. “Their hard work, character, and perseverance reflect the core values of our institution and the impact of an environment intentionally designed around what young men need developmentally and neurologically to thrive.”

Cadets in the Class of 2025 were accepted to two U.S. Service Academies: United States Military Academy at West Point and the United States Naval Academy, as well as all five Senior Military Colleges: Texas A&M, Norwich University, The Citadel, Virginia Military Institute, and the University of North Georgia. In addition to these prestigious institutions, Cadets received offers from many of the nation’s top public and private research universities. These include the University of Southern California, New York University, Purdue University, Penn State, Rutgers, and the University of Toronto, among others.

Reflecting the Academy’s emphasis on science, technology, and aviation, Cadets also earned spots at top STEM-focused institutions such as Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Virginia Tech, and Binghamton University. They were also accepted to a wide range of universities known for their strong programs, including campuses within the University of California and California State University systems, University of Arizona, Arizona State University, Boise State, Clemson, Brigham Young University, and many more.

Scholarship Awards Totaling Over $4.2 Million:

Many Cadets were recognized for their academic excellence, leadership, and athletic talent with significant scholarship offers. Notable awards include:

  • Nehemiah Brunson – Over $1.75 million in combined athletic scholarships from West Point, Columbia University, The Citadel, and Western Colorado University
  • Ray Kim – $1 million scholarship, United States Naval Academy
  • Logan Rogers – $484,900 in combined merit scholarships from top universities
  • Hung Nguyen – $240,000 Presidential Scholarship, Binghamton University
  • Lance Germani – $145,000 Navy ROTC Scholarship
  • Zavier Leatherman – Over $197,000 in athletic scholarships from Boise State University and Davenport University
  • Carlos Ramirez – 53,000 scholarship, Brigham Young University
  • Philip Hunt – $45,000 Army ROTC Scholarship
  • Kai Escobedo – $30,000 Army ROTC Scholarship
  • Ian Wiatrak – $56,000 scholarship, University of Montana
  • Sanjay Swaroop – $120,000 merit scholarship, UC San Diego
