Army and Navy Academy will host its 17th Annual Veterans Day Military Review on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 10:45 AM to 12:00 PM at Bliss Stadium, located at 2600 Carlsbad Blvd., Carlsbad, CA.

This community tradition honors the men and women who have served our nation with courage and distinction. The ceremony will include a guest address by Colonel Oliver Cass ’81 (U.S. Army, Retired), an alumnus of the Academy, along with a military parade and review by the Army and Navy Academy Corps of Cadets, a flyover by the Salute Formation Flying Team, and a wreath presentation and TAPS to honor those who gave their lives in service.

Following the ceremony, guests are invited to attend a Veterans Art Exhibit and Reception in Duffield Gym, hosted in collaboration with the North Coastal Art Gallery.

Colonel Cass retired from the U.S. Army in 2013 after nearly three decades of distinguished service as a Military Intelligence officer. His operational assignments spanned Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, including deployments in support of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. His awards include the Legion of Merit, three Bronze Star Medals, the National Intelligence Medal of Achievement, and the Department of Defense Human Intelligence Lifetime Achievement Award.

After retiring from active duty, Colonel Cass continued his public service as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State, serving in Mexico, Canada, South Sudan, and South Carolina. He currently serves as Western Region Deputy Director for Mission Support at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).

The event is hosted by Army and Navy Academy and the Rotary Clubs of Carlsbad, uniting veterans, civic leaders, families, and community members in a shared tribute to service and sacrifice.

No RSVP is required, and all are welcome to attend. Come early for street parking or take advantage of complimentary parking available at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 2775 Carlsbad Blvd., Carlsbad, CA.
