Jennifer Cancelleri

Jennifer Cancelleri joined the Army and Navy Academy in 2019 as an Admissions Associate. A native of New York, Jennifer was fortunate to have moved with her large extended Italian family to Carlsbad as a young child. She attended Carlsbad High School and spent many summers at the beach in front of the Army and Navy Academy.

After college, Jennifer was blessed to stay home and raise her three young children, Jenna, Kelly & Jake until they were teenagers. During this time, she volunteered daily at multiple schools in several leadership roles including a continuous position for six years with the Carlsbad Education Foundation. Jennifer transitioned back to full-time work at the Gemological Institute of America as the Student Services Coordinator for GIA’s Education Department for many years. She loved the daily interactions with GIA’s vast student population who came to study at GIA from all over of the world. Jennifer is very excited to continue her career in education back at the beach at the Army and Navy Academy!

Jennifer loves spending her free time with her family traveling, exploring new cuisines, attending theatre productions as well as hiking, boating and paddle boarding.
