Brittany Zamora is the Lead Counselor at Army and Navy Academy, and her caseload consists of Cadets with last names that begin with I-Q in grades 10-12. Her primary responsibility is assisting Cadets with their personal, academic, and college/career goals. Brittany also serves as the Testing Coordinator and is in charge of ordering and hosting the SAT, ACT, and AP Exams.

Brittany obtained her College Counseling Certificate from UCSD’s extension program in 2018 and enjoys helping Cadets explore the many post-secondary options that are available. She is a member of the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and stays updated on developments within higher education.

Before joining the ANA team in 2017, she was a counselor with San Diego Unified School District and has worked in both elementary and high school settings. While at the University of San Diego, she completed a Youth Participatory Action Research Project examining the private school experience of international students. She is a member of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and is constantly striving for professional growth as a counselor.

In her free time, Brittany enjoys spending time with her family including her goldendoodle, Hamilton. She ran a marathon in Anchorage, Alaska in 2019 and considers it one of her greatest accomplishments. She is a Michigan native and loves visiting in the summer to spend time with her family and friends.
