Alison Stuart

Alison is very excited to be teaching at Army and Navy Academy this year! Alison is originally from Atlanta, GA and grew up on Long Island, NY. She moved to San Clemente, CA before high school and graduated from San Clemente High School. Alison attended the University of Arizona where she double majored in History and Psychology. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Arizona. Before teaching at ANA Alison was teaching American History in Tucson, AZ. After many years in the desert Alison was finally ready to be near the beach again and moved back to San Clemente.

She has a passion for teaching and love for history which she enjoys sharing with her students. As the US History Teacher and AP US History teacher, Alison hopes to inspire her students to want to learn more about the country they are living in as well as to take a more active role in civic life. When she is not teaching, Alison loves to go to the beach and reading historical fiction.
