How to Visit

From San Diego:
Take Interstate 5 North to the Carlsbad Village Drive exit.
Turn left onto Carlsbad Village Drive (heading West).
Continue through the downtown area.
At Carlsbad Blvd., turn right (also known as Coast Highway).
Continue on north Carlsbad Blvd. through two stoplights.
As you drive by the Academy (on your left), you will be
approaching a small hill.
The Scandia Motel will be on your right.
Directly before the hill, you will need to turn left onto Mountain View Drive.
(There is a turning lane for this street).
Park in the Visitor's Parking Lot.
If you drive past the motel, you've gone too far and will
have to drive across the lagoon to get to the intersection of
Coast Highway and Vista Way (stoplight) before you can turn around.

From East County:
Take CA-78 West to Vista Way.
Take the exit on the left.
Merge onto Vista Way.
Turn left onto S. Coast Hwy.
S. Coast Hwy becomes Carlsbad Blvd.
As you approach the Academy you will need to turn right onto Mountain View Drive.
Park in the Visitor's Parking Lot.
Street parking is also available on Carlsbad Blvd.

From Los Angeles:
Take Interstate 5 South to Carlsbad Village Drive.
Turn right onto Carlsbad Village Drive (heading West).
Continue through the downtown area.
