A typical day at Army Navy begins around 6:00am.  In the a.m. before breakfast, we clean our room for inspection. Then we have morning attendance, breakfast and tours.

If we are not required to march tours, we have 0 period twice a week. All Day Cadets arrive by 7:45 for First Formation.  After formation everyone goes to 1st period.  Periods 1-4 are before lunch, with a 10 minute break in between.  After 2nd Formation, we have lunch and Day Cadets have tours.  Periods 5 & 6 conclude at 2:45.

Tutorial, sports/PT and Tours all happen before dinner.  Dinner starts at 5:45.and we have free time until 7:00.  From 7:00 until 9:00, all grades have CQ or Study Hall.  During this time we are to be either in our room studying, in the Library/Computer Lab, or in Study Hall.

The last hour of the day is spent with our company and Residential Life Officer.  Taps is sounded at 10:00, signaling lights out for the evening.

"One could say that putting my appreciation for this Academy in words would be near impossible.  The respect and love I feel for you is beyond mere words on paper . . . Thank you, mother and father, for allowing me the opportunity to build a strong foundation for my future."

Christopher Behr, Class of 2007
