“After graduation in 1987, I took the values I learned at ANA: honor, courage, and commitment, and dedicated myself in college at the University of California Irvine. After graduation, I joined the Marine Corps and then put the three experiences together and built, what I thought was a very good foundation. What the Marine Corps and the Army and Navy Academy taught me, I was able to apply in life and transformed my career into something I am very proud of today. I would think if you are a boarding student for six years, or even just the four years in high school, and you’re from outside California, you will find that you probably won’t be leaving on too many weekends. You’ll have people coming to visit you instead. As a cadet, you can certainly grow into a fine young man and enjoy everything that Southern California has to offer.
