Admission Criteria:
We determine eligibility to attend, in this order of priority:
1. Student Interest and Commitment to Attend the Academy
2. Attendance and Discipline Records
3. Grade Point Average (G.P.A.)
4. Test Scores
5. Student Survey and Writing Sample
Testing
U.S. Applicants: We prefer
to receive SSAT or ISEE scores, or other supplemental test scores. As an option, if a test site is not available, we offer the OLSAT exam in our Admission Office.
International Applicants: For international applicants, we highly recommend submission of scores from TOEFL or SSAT exams. We give first priority to students who score in the intermediate range.
Note: All international applicants must complete a SKYPE interview.
TOEFL IBT.......minimum score of 52
TOEFL CBT......minimum score of 150
TOEFL Paper...minimum score of 450
Appointment
U.S. Students: Parents are required to set an appointment. The appointment entails a campus tour, student interview, parent consultation and in-house testing (if required). Please allow 3 hours for your appointment.
International Students: Parents are required to schedule a Skype interview for their son with the International Admission Counselor.
U.S. Students - Living Abroad: Parents are required to schedule a phone or Skype interview, or a campus appointment with the International Admission Counselor.
