Giving to Army and Navy Academy

Make your gift to the Academy today!

Please click on the holiday giving box on the left side of the screen to go to our secure online giving site for credit card payments.

Each year, the Academy relies heavily on private donations from alumni, parents and friends to support our day-to-day operations.  Tuition payments cover only about 80 percent of the school's expenses.  The remaining 20 percent must come from other sources of income, among them the school's Annual Fund.

Gifts to the Annual Fund are an important investment in the cadets of today.  Donations will help:

  • Strengthen the athletic program and other after-school activities,
  • Increase financial aid to families hard-pressed to pay full tuition;
  • Modernize classroom technology

Specific Projects to be Completed with Donated Funds in 08-09 and 09-10

These projects will be completed in the next two years based on donated dollars through our annual campagn.

  • Renovate library (under construction)
  • Renovate all cottage bathrooms (six each)
  • Relocate the visual arts classroom to Mohan Hall
  • Complete the remodel of the music room
  • Install lights on Maffucci Field
  • Purchase a wireless sound system for the cadet chapel
  • Complete upgrade to the “wireless cloud”
  • Upgrade campus security system
  • Repair the floor in the dining facility from tree root damage
  • Install new windows in the 100 classroom area
  • Install new windows in the executive offices

Donations through the Annual Fund are suggested to be unrestricted.

Alumni Fund: Warrior Pride!

Looking for an easy way to give back to your school?  Show your warrior pride by making a donation to the Alumni Fund, the Alumni component to the Annual Fund.  Your gift supports scholarships, athletics, renovations to our great old campus, and, in short, everything that makes Army and Navy such a rich and unique place.

Annual Fund: Support your Cadets!

A critical part of the Academy is the Annual Fund, the Annual Fund helps bridge the gap between revenue raised through tuition and the actual cost of an ANA education.  Our goal is 100% participation by all Academy parents.  A high percentage of participation by parents in the Annual Fund directly affects Army and Navy Academy's ability to apply for grants and other outside funding.  All gifts, regardless of size, will truly make a difference to our boys.

Circle of Friends

For those able to take a leadership role in the Annual Fund, we invite you to join one of our "Circle of Friends."  This special group of alumni, parents, and friends invests $100 or more each year in Army and Navy, its programs and people.

Founder's Circle $10,000+

President's Circle $5,000 to $9,999

1910 Circle $1,910 to $4,999

Black and Gold Circle $1,000 to $1,909

Warriors Circle $500 to $999

     Friend's Circle $100 to $499

Other Ways of Giving

There are many other ways to help the Academy. The Centennial Celebration Fund as well as the Master Plan Fund are two options.  Contact Academy Vice President, Stan Stockdate at 760.547.5298 or sstockdale@armyandnavyacademy.org for details.

Additonally,  donating items the school would otherwise need to buy, aka "gifts in kind" are as good as cash. Your time as a volunteer, is greatly appreciated as well.  For more information on donating your time or "gifts in kind", please contact Heather Hyatt-Haynes, Director of Parent Affairs at 760.547.5276.

Thank you from the Academy!

Our donors are treated as partners and friends. They are an invaluable part of the Academy's family. If you would like to help our cadets in this important way, we would welcome your support. Please call our Advancement Office at 760.547.5276.  Thanks for caring, and for sharing with Army and Navy Academy!
